Amcorp solar power plant largest in Malaysia

Malaysia’s largest solar power plant was officially launched yesterday by Amcorp Properties Bhd, with recognition from by the Malaysia Book of Records for being the largest grid-connected solar farm in Malaysia.

The 10.25MW power plant has a power purchase agreement with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) for 21 years at a feed-in tariff of 87.4 sen/kWh.

It was officially opened by the Yang Di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir.

Amcorp Group chairman Tan Sri Azman Hashim said the solar power plant was built at a total cost of RM87 million. — Full Story at Therakyatpost
