Malaysia’s largest solar power plant was officially launched yesterday by Amcorp Properties Bhd, with recognition from by the Malaysia Book of Records for being the largest grid-connected solar farm in Malaysia.
The 10.25MW power plant has a power purchase agreement with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) for 21 years at a feed-in tariff of 87.4 sen/kWh.
It was officially opened by the Yang Di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir.
Amcorp Group chairman Tan Sri Azman Hashim said the solar power plant was built at a total cost of RM87 million. — Full Story at Therakyatpost —
